35 Players participated in the Nov. 6th tourney. No ace was hit so the Ace Pot is now up to $240. Jimmy Z and Efrain S tie in open with a 45, JAB wins Adv Masters with 49, James S takes MA2 with a 51.

23 players played the October 2nd Mini. Not a bad turn out with Octoberfest going on at Moody's in Red Rock. Dale H and Mark Stevens tie at -5 in Open. James McNair takes Advanced Masters shooting even. Ace Pot now sits at $171.

The Fall work day was a success with a few people working hard to get the course looking good. Thanks to Jim Warren, General Jeff, Jay Tudor, and Larry Jones who came out  and helped with mowing, weedeating, and trash pickup.

Info for July 5th from the PDGA Discussion Board:
There were thirty six players who came out  in the July heat to the Lago Vista Resort Course. There was a four way tie in open at -5, and the bagger div. led by Smitty with -8 and Rick J. with -7! James McNair and Joey Roper tie at even in Adv. Master. James won the playoff after several holes. Rocco won intermediate with a -1. No ACE was hit so the Ace Pot starts at $123 for August 7th.

Thanks to James McNair, Jim Warren, and Charles Walker. They joined me last weekend Saturday and Sunday May 21st and 22nd mowing, weed-eating, grooming and cleaning the Resort Course. Over 20 man hours were put in. Please thank these guys if you see them because with out them there wouldn't be a Lago Vista Resort Disc Golf Course.

32 players on May 2nd

32 players on May the 2nd. Highlights included an -8 by Von Kreke to take Open honors, Vinnie Miller took the CTP for half the ace pot ($51.50), lots of wind but a lot of fun. Again thanks to players who donated cash and winnings to NSDGC. Scores

The donated, Thanks Vinnie, repaired mower, THANKS Joey, was delivered from south Austin to Lago Vista. We will be working hard to groom the course for the PDGA event May 29th & 30th. There is still a lot of volunteer work we will need weed eating and mowing. A clean up day is being planned for Saturday May 22nd and Sunday the 23rd. More info latter. As usual any and all help will be appreciated.

36 players on April 4th

36 players on April the 4th even with a lot of other tournaments and disc golf activity over the weekend in Texas. Great weather and a fun crowd showed up on this first day of daylight savings time. No ace was hit and Ric Johnson took $59, half the ace pot, in the Closest to the Pin. Thanks to players who donated cash and winnings to NSDGC. With the donations we are working on getting a riding mower working so mowing will be easier and done more often.

53 players at the March 7th Mini

It was a gorgeous day at Lake Travis and Lago Vista. The Resort Course was looking great, the weather was outstanding, and the queso dip at Cabo' Loco, restaurant at Casa Lago Resort, was tasty. More news about the DG support of this new restaurant (good food, cold beer, nice folks) coming soon.
Even with two big tourneys within a short driving distance, there were 53 players as the Lago faithful showed up, as always. I can't tell y'all how much the support out there means to me and to the NSDGC. Its so cool to see all those golfers cheering good shots and cussing hard holes
Congrats to Lago local and NSDG member Steve Gottner for the Open win and Matman for the CTP for half the Ace Pot which he donated a large portion of it back to the club. Also thanks to a dozen or so others who donated cash and winnings to NSDGC. You the players make this course what it is with your support.

February 04, 2004 Tournament had 40 Players

40 players on a chilly and overcast Super Bowl Sunday was a pretty good indication of how much fun this mini is each month and what a fun course it is played on. Chris Ware ties the course record, but misses a couple of birdies to bust it, thus missing the standing $50 course record bounty. Half of the brand spankin' new ace pot ($40) was taken home by Brandon Elder in a CTP, (closest to the pin), throw off from the # 2 short  tee. The other $40 rolls on to next month.
